What Is Accountability Agreement

Service accounting agreements are signed with the Central Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) and establish the agreement for service levels and allow Stevenson State Hospital to continue to provide its wide range of safe and high quality programs and services. The latest Hospital Accounting Agreement (H-SAA) is available below. In the interests of transparency, the Local Health System System Integration Act of 2006 requires health service providers (LHIN) to enter into an Inter-Professional Service Accountability Agreement (M-SAA) that outlines the responsibilities of the HSP as part of the funding agreement. When the service contract or long-term care service (L-SAA) is concluded with the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care or the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN), the employer must rectify and provide the Union with copies of these agreements. The Service Accountability Agreement is a multi-year agreement that supports a cooperative relationship between the LHIN and the PSP to improve the health of Ontarians by improving access to quality health services, coordinating health care in local health systems, and effectively and effectively managing the health system at the local level. Before providing funding for the provision of services to its local health system, the Local Health System System Integration Act of 2006 requires LHIN and HSP to enter into an agreement on accountability in the area of services. NHH signs two separate agreements. The Hospital Service Accountability Agreement handles primary acute care services as well as most post-acute specialized services. The Multi-Sector Service Accountability Agreement is exclusively responsible for the NHH Community Mental Health Program. The NHH signs funding agreements with the Central East East Health Integration Network that require the hospital to meet certain performance and performance goals.
